Background project
This 25 minute selection of material is taken from a research video about a
project that toured the England/Wales borderlands and Leeds Castle (2000/1).
The focus of the research was on the impact of performing in landscape. The
Caer Llan Trilogy (CLT) was a more experimental, and differently focussed,
successor.
Many of the company in the tour became the core research practitioners in
the CLT, 2002-2004. (Caer Llan had been the 2000 tour base. The site was
familiar to most of the practitioners before the Trilogy therefore, as was
some of the early thinking behind the CLT research project.)
